Great health begins at the root
Homotoxicology
Excretion Phase
The Excretion Phase classifies the body's natural ability to detoxify as generally normal as most detoxification mechanisms have not been repressed by internal or external homotoxins. Elimination of toxins normally occurs through the open passages of the body such as the mouth. The Homotoxicological strategy as prescribed and proven by Reckeweg will ensure the body remains healthy and continues to defend itself from toxins in the following ways:
- Homeopathic therapy through natural remedies
- Avoidance or reduction of specific antibody stimulation, which is secreted into the blood or lymph in response to antigen stimulation.
- Improvement in diet by reducing exposure to dietary antigens which include toxins, bacteria, virus, parasites, foreign blood cells, and the cells of transplanted organs
- Continued exposure to homotoxins such as smoking should be stopped
Reaction Phase
In the Reaction Phase, the body's defenses are actively working to eliminate toxins. Symptoms are the voice the body uses to communicate its attempts to regulate towards recovery and, most commonly, surface in the form of fever, diarrhea, and inflammation. The use of conventional anti-diarrhea or anti-fever medicine are rarely useful and may only cause more harm since they act to silence the symptoms without taking proper action to treat the root cause. As prescribed by Reckeweg, the Homotoxicological strategies for patients who fall under the Reaction Phase are as follows:
- Cleansing specific organs and tissues from homotoxins through such therapies as colon hydrotherapy, far infrared sauna therapy; juice fasting; orthomolecular detoxification.
- Reducing reactive oxidative species through antioxidant therapy
- Removing, where possible, conventional toxic medications that suppress important regulatory mechanisms.
- Improving diet through adequate hydration and reducing exposure to dietary antigens that may include toxins, bacteria, virus, parasites, foreign blood cells, and the cells of transplanted organs.
Deposition Phase
In the Deposition Phase, the body's defenses are overwhelmed by toxic overload and cannot adequately eliminate the invading toxins, which are then deposited into the connective tissue and throughout the vascular system. The release and gradual elimination of toxin deposits require stimulation of cellular metabolic functions. For patients who are experiencing the Deposition Phase, Reckeweg's Homotoxicological strategies are as follows:
- Stimulating the body's overall natural defenses through herbal immune tonics, ganglion neural therapy, acupuncture, specific bacterial and fungal isopathics, thymic proteins, nosodes.
Impregnation Phase
In the Impregnation Phase there is the start of cell penetration by toxins, which interfere with enzymatic functions of the cell and damage important cellular membranes. Usually some form of serious inflammation occurs as a result of the body's overall exhaustive efforts to eliminate the toxins. This ultimately results in organ damage and if the accumulation of toxins continues without detoxification then often-irreversible organ structure deterioration may occur. The Homotoxicological strategies as prescribed Reckeweg for the Impregnation Phase are as follows:
- Supporting cellular processes through enzyme therapy, homeopathic remedies and vitamins, cellular detoxification and phytotherapeutic substances.
- Increase membrane potential through ionic minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, essential fatty acids, enzyme therapy.
Cleansing specific organs and tissues from homotoxins through such therapies as colon hydrotherapy, far infrared sauna therapy; juice fasting; orthomolecular detoxification.
Reducing reactive oxidative species through antioxidant therapy Removing, where possible, conventional toxic medications that suppress important regulatory mechanisms. Improving diet through adequate hydration and reducing exposure to dietary antigens that may include toxins, bacteria, virus, parasites, foreign blood cells, and the cells of transplanted organs.
Degeneration Phase
In the Degeneration Phase, both organ structure and function is irreversibly being damaged as a result of toxic accumulation. These toxins 'impregnate' or saturate and overwhelm cells at a glandular level and especially thalamic level, which causes, often irreversible hormonal imbalances. Without the necessary detoxification treatment, this leads to suppression of the inflammatory and cellular defenses of the body and leaves the body helpless. While improvement is possible at this stage, fully recovering organ function may not be possible. As prescribed by Reckeweg, the Homotoxicological strategies for patients who fall under the Degeneration Phase are as follows:
- Supporting cellular processes through enzyme therapy, homeopathic remedies and vitamins, cellular detoxification and phytotherapeutic substances.
- Increase membrane potential through ionic minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, essential fatty acids, enzyme therapy.
- Support regeneration of tissues and organs with orthomolecular elements such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, essential fatty acids.
- Restore genetic material with regenerative therapy such as Einzel-Regeneresen; vit Organ; Suis-Organ Preparations of HEEL.
Neoplasm Phase
In the Neoplasm Phase severe damage has been caused to genetic material and cellular respiratory mechanisms. Organs and tissues cannot thrive in the body's overwhelmingly toxic environment and lose their ability to function properly. There is a complete alteration of the cellular process and polluted unhealthy cells are released into the general circulation of the body. Cancer patients often fall within this Neoplasm Phase. As prescribed by Reckeweg, the Homotoxicological strategies for patients who fall under the Neoplasm Phase, such as those suffering from Cancer, are as follows:
- Removing chronic inflammatory foci
- Specific anti-neoplasmatic nosode stimulus through vaccine therapy
- Oppose the growth of cells infected with toxicity through Viscum, enzyme therapy, anti-angiogenesis therapy, hyperthermia.
- Supporting cellular processes through enzyme therapy, homeopathic remedies and vitamins, cellular detoxification and phytotherapeutic substances.
- Increase membrane potential through ionic minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, essential fatty acids, enzyme therapy.
- Support regeneration of tissues and organs with orthomolecular elements such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, essential fatty acids.
